Pinwave is a location-based music discovery platform that allows users to discover, share, and experience music tied to physical locations. Our services include music pins, quests, artist profiles, and community features.
3. User Accounts
When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create on Pinwave. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content within the platform.
You agree not to post content that:
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Contains spam or misleading information
- Violates the privacy of others
5. Music & Copyright
Pinwave integrates with licensed music streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube). All music content is subject to the respective platform's licensing agreements. Users must have valid subscriptions to access full tracks through these services.
6. Artist Terms
Artists who use Pinwave to distribute content retain full ownership of their music. By uploading content, artists grant Pinwave a license to display and stream their content within the app. Artists can remove their content at any time.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service
- Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
- Scrape or collect user data without permission
- Use bots or automated systems to interact with the service
8. Free Service & Future Features
Pinwave is currently free to use. We may introduce premium features in the future, but core discovery features will remain free. We believe art has no price label.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Pinwave is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be error-free. Location-based features depend on device capabilities and environmental factors.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinwave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tennessee.
